Commonly, prepared as thinly shaved meat used for cold-cut sandwiches, Beef Tongue was traditionally used in many recipes dating back to the 1950s and now sometimes served as an hors-d'oeuvre. "Tacos de Lengua" is another very common Mexican dish. Alternatively, many dog owners are adding this to their raw food diet for their pets.
